Enrollment
Requirements

Applicants must be 16 years of age or older. Anyone under 18 years of age must have a letter of consent from their parent or legal guardian.

Applicants need to be in good physical condition and have good motor skills.

Applicants shall be able read and write adequately to pass a written exam.

A high school diploma is desired by not necessary to register, receive training or take the written test.
Required Equipment
(Approximately $150.00 value)
May be purchased at the Train Facilities welding supply store or bring your own:
- welding jacket with leather sleeves
- welding gloves
- safety glasses
- welding helmet
- welders cap
*leather shoes are required steel toes optional no tennis shoes*
Schedule
Monday – Thursday:
Morning Session 8 am to 11:30 am
Afternoon Session 1 pm to 4:30 pm
Evening Session 6 pm to 9:30 pm
Fridays reserved for testing.
Registration
New classes will be held each month. Registration will begin on the 15th of each month and end at the start of classes. Welding 101 will not have classes on the following days:
